SOFTakeoff
SOFTakeoff is a DIGITIZERLESS Windows based graphical on screen takeoff program designed to handle buildings, structures, or 2 dimensional sitework.
SOFTakeoff results are easily exported to Excel or to any Windows program, spreadsheet or application.
SOFTakeoff measures areas, lengths, and counts items along with routines for concrete, framing, roofing, flooring, drywall and practically any other building trade. Functions include slab/footing takeoffs, roof layouts (with hips, valleys, joists and buy-lengths), tile layouts (for acoustical & ceramic flooring) and much more. It also has a formula generator that can be customized, to apply equations to any measurements, and also has a unique 3-dimensional feature. These aren't just "assemblies" where you provide a simple factor! These features actually draw and layout components exactly as they will be built - and report the precise quantities (including buy-quantities). All at the click of a button!
SOFTakeoff lets you perform your takeoffs with just your mouse and/or keyboard so you do not need to invest in a digitizer. You can plug answers into any Windows program, print out graphical (color coded) representations of your takeoffs (complete with notes) and even use the takeoff graphics in any Windows program (as part of your presentation, for instance).
SOFTakeoff is an electronic takeoff tool that allows you to do takeoffs direct from drawings from a local electronic plans room.
SOFTakeoff reads electronic files such as DXF, DWG, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, BMP and many others.
